Company Description The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 Major League Soccer (MLS) teams. RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, has competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull, for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams. Purpose of this Job The New York Red Bulls are looking for a match day stage manager to assist with execution of game entertainment elements. The ideal candidate would have prior sports experience, the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, and a passion for entertainment. This would be a paid, part-time role and events based. They would report to the Manager of Game Presentation & Entertainment. Job Description Executing game entertainment elements like National Anthem performers, Color Guards, and other pregame or halftime activations on a match-by-match basis Assisting in-arena host with live hits and movements within the arena Help in execution of partnerships activations like giveaways, contestant selection, and overall fan engagement Be a representative of the New York Red Bulls brand while interacting with talent and fans Act as an on-field Red Hat, communicating between the officiating crew and match director Qualifications Prior stage manager experience, preferably within sports Have positive interactions with performers, fans and match day participants Effective communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team oriented environment Availability for the majority of New York Red Bulls home matches Additional Information Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.
