Job Type: Full Time, Contract position

Sunbelt Staffing is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. We are seeking a passionate MiddleSchool ELA Teacher to join our team and help foster student growth in a school district within the South Plainfield, NJ area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Intense collaboration grade team around curriculum and sharing of best practices
- Weekly leadership-led professional development sessions, including planning meetings, training on classroom management and curriculum, strategies for working with Students with Disabilities and English-Language Learners, and sessions to analyze student work
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Communicate with parents and staff about student development
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage active participation

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education
- Valid NJ state teaching certification in ELA
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and working with young learners
