We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be at the core of our operations, managing and driving forward some of our most crucial projects. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of affordable housing and community revitalization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in real estate development with experience working with LIHTC.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, multi-faceted projects that span across the affordable housing and real estate development sector. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial conception to completion.
2. Coordinating and managing all project activities, including design, construction, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
3. Managing the LIHTC application process, including underwriting and financial modeling.
4. Ensuring compliance with HUD and other relevant regulations.
5. Collaborating with stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and community organizations.
6. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
7. Identifying and pursuing new development opportunities within the affordable housing sector.
8. Providing leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with LIHTC, underwriting, and financial modeling.
3. Extensive knowledge of affordable housing and real estate development.
4. Familiarity with HUD and other relevant regulations.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex project challenges.
7. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
8. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be an added advantage.
