Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician Overview: We are a rapidly growing, privately-owned company dedicated to providing top-notch service and maintenance to our facilities across Southern California. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. Your expertise in apartment maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving will be essential in ensuring our facilities' optimal operation.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance around the building, including repairs to windows, doors, and walls, gates, locks
Repair broken or leaking plumbing to prevent water damage and ensure full use of fixtures
Work on damaged electrical wiring when shortages or severed wires occur
Maintain building HVAC equipment to ensure proper climate control
Apply preventative measures to minimize future issues, such as sealing flat roofs
Fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries
Paint building interiors or exteriors as needed
Oil doorknobs, locks, hinges, and gates
Replace carpets and wooden floors
Sweep, mop, and vacuum communal areas
Dispose of trash in communal areas
Track inventory to ensure sufficient maintenance supplies
Ensure fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency exits are in excellent working condition
Unlock apartments when tenants have lost or forgotten keys
Schedule repairs that require specialized skills
Travel to other properties as needed
Complete apartments needing to be made rent ready
Collection of rent payment from residents
Communications with residents about issues
Posting notices through out community from corporate
Handling vendor communications and meetings, and scheduling
Providing keys and documents to new move ins
Conducting various audits, move in, move out, GTG, work order, Tour audits
Provide tours for potential residents
Providing additional support to regional manager pertaining to community relations and communication
Benefits:
