Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as an Assembler. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, assembling sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.
  • Operate hand and power tools and overhead cranes
  • Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.
  • Work with a partner to fulfill daily product orders.
  • Lift and fit metal products together, requiring lifting of 60lbs+.
  • Perform tasks involving standing, walking, climbing, and extending arms for extended periods.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes.
  • Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.
  • Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Company offers GED program).
  • Ability to lift 50lbs+ independently.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment

First Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM
Second Shift: 2PM - 10:30PM
The work environment is clean, organized, and features a large manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
