Job Title: AWS Architect / AWS Solution Architect

Job Location: 100% On-site - Irving, TX

Job Type : Fulltime

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Lead Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices, combined with strong leadership capabilities to drive cloud initiatives. This role requires a hands-on expert who can design, implement, and optimize AWS solutions while collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Chief Enterprise Architect, CIO org stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership:
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
• Provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes across multiple teams.
• Hands-on Technical Execution:
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and others.
• Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards within AWS environments.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with the Chief Enterprise Architect and executive leadership to align cloud initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Performance Optimization and Monitoring:
• Optimize cloud workloads for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability.
• Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure system health and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with support teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT architecture with a focus on AWS cloud solutions.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex AWS-based solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.) and methodologies.
• Knowledge of SageMaker and Timeseries algorithms (ARIMA, CNN-QR, PROPHET etc..)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory: AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Agile project management experience.
