Job Description

Location : San Leandro, CA - onsite 5 days per week.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience of direct billing and invoicing.
• Experience with Progress Billing, Contract Billing, Lump Sum, or Time and Material Billing.
• Strong Excel experience creating Lookups and Pivot Tables.
• Experience billing within a Construction, HVAC, or Plumbing industry is highly preferred or Medical Billing.
• Experience creating and reviewing PO's and invoices experience with any accounting software ex: Great plains, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards.

Job Summary : A client of Insight Global is looking for a strong Billing Specialist to join their team to assist with billing for HVAC Construction Projects.

This individual will be :

• Responsible for the timely preparation of accurate costing and billing of service work for service technicians and project managers.
• Processing credits and rebills for various reasons including previous billing errors.
• Experience billing clients via email and client portals and processing on-line billings invoices.
• Data entry and any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Service Business Processes Manager, or Billing and Dispatch Supervisor.

Compensation : $25/hr to $30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
