Job Description
We are looking for Carpenters with a lead mentality that can self-perform all aspects of construction to ensure our schedules and budgets are met. The ideal candidate is a qualified individual who is skilled and knowledgeable in various trades to include carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting. The candidate must be dependable, well-spoken, clean in appearance, possess a strong work ethic and the ability to engage with customers and subcontractors. Candidate must have reliable transportation and basic tools. This is a full-time, hourly paid position. Starting pay will be based on experience, skill level, and the ability to produce quality craftmanship. Job Responsibilities
  • Rebuilding/reconstruction due to Water, Fire, Mold, Sewage, and Board-Up jobs
  • Rough and finish carpentry
  • Drywall: hang and finish, texture matching
  • Painting: Interior and exterior
  • Plumbing finish: minor plumbing repair
  • Electrical finish: basic electrical
  • Cabinetry: install cabinets and countertops
  • Flooring: hardwood, vinyl (sheet goods), laminate, and vinyl plank
  • Tile: Wall and floor
  • Exterior: Trim and siding (vinyl, fiber cement, wood)
  • Roofing: Minor roofing repairs
  • Ensuring high-quality finish is achieved and maintaining a clean/safe job site
Skills and Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in finish carpentry
  • 5+ years experience in rough carpentry preferred
  • Experience in remodeling a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of power tools and equipment
  • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
  • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
  • Ability to use smartphone and tablet effectively
  • Has good communication and leadership skills
Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 8 am 4:30 pm.
  • Evenings or weekends are sometimes required to respect client deadlines.
  • Carpenters must have a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE and PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 to $28.00 /hour
