POSITION

We’re seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a clinical research site located in Ravenswood. This is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacy technician looking to pivot into or grow within the research field. You’ll be working side by side with clinical teams, playing a critical role in the preparation and handling of study medications while ensuring quality and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation, organization, and distribution of study medications
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and temperature logs; place and verify medication orders
• Support site staff by answering questions and managing requests related to pharmacological services
• Follow study protocols and company SOPs to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Keep detailed records and support documentation required by sponsors and regulatory bodies
• Coordinate with investigators, coordinators, and management to ensure smooth site operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Illinois State Pharmacy Technician License
• National certification (PTCB or NHA) required
• Experience in clinical research or inpatient/hospital pharmacy strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
