Your Impact The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver modules, stable application systems, and Data or Platform solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying integrated business and/or enterprise infrastructure or application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise Data or Platform solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. What You Will Do Develop integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions in data analytical space to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards. Create software/data solutions based on business requirements, demonstrating a good understanding of programming fundamentals. Conduct thorough unit and functional testing, ensuring coverage of all boundary conditions, and support user acceptance testing. Follow best practices for source control and CI/CD for efficient testing and deployment. Review technical documents, design, code, and perform peer reviews to ensure team alignment. Participate in group design for data pipelines across various systems, including transactional, streaming, and big data environments. Implement business metrics using SQL in collaboration with technical leads, data analysts, and product owners. Develop transformation logic to aggregate, filter, and combine datasets for business insights. Analyze and organize data to identify datasets and metrics for business insights. Support development and maintenance of operational and analytical applications, delivering reports on-premises and in cloud infrastructure. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and draft support reports, ensuring compliance with IT governance and regulatory frameworks. Assist in infrastructure-related projects for the organization. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience) At least 2 years of experience in Data, BI, or Platform Engineering, Data Warehousing/ETL, or Software Engineering At least 1 year of experience with SDLC project implementations Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in relevant fields Additional years of IT experience in developing business systems Experience with defect tracking software, technical documentation, ITIL framework, leading teams, middleware, and database technologies Specific experience in Data Engineering, BI Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles as detailed About Lowe’s Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
