What will you do?

Help our clients solve some of their most complex data engineering and analytics challenges through providing them with a unique perspective on how their organization can leverage the latest tools and technologies.

Blend your passion for technology, expertise in Data and Analytics, and your excellent consulting skills to design, develop, and implement technical components of data solutions including data modelling, ETL, Reporting and Infrastructure as well as their integration.

Use your deep understanding of the architecture for enterprise level data warehouse solutions using multiple platforms (RDBMS, Columnar, Cloud) and be confident in building efficient, flexible, extensible, and scalable ETL and reporting solutions.

Use your enthusiasm about learning new technologies to implement solutions that provide new functionality to the users or to scale the existing platform.

This is a high visibility role where you will be working closely with our leader of Data Solutions, and CompassX founders in a growing practice with opportunities to enhance your skill set and build your career.

Also, as a valued member of the company, we would invite you to contribute to the growth of the firm. Your participation could be on the account, practice areas, recruiting, mentoring, or internal initiatives.

What do you bring?
  • Ideally, 5+ years of Data Engineering expertise which spans modern ETL tooling and ingestion patterns with strong coding (especially Python or SQL)
  • Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
  • Passion for exploring new technologies and ability to solution with at least one of major cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Successfully able to lead a team of developers to successful completion of complex projects
  • Track record of developing and deploying end to end data solutions that solve challenging business problems
  • Confident approach to consult with clients to truly understand the business problems that technical solutions will solve
  • Clear communicator who can interact and influence a variety of both technical and business stakeholders
