Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Digital Marketing & Lead Generation to take full ownership of our digital marketing initiatives and lead strategic lead generation efforts that drive brand awareness and business growth.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing omnichannel marketing campaigns, creating engaging digital content, and leveraging AI tools to optimize marketing processes. The successful candidate will focus on new lead generation, corporate client acquisition, and converting marketing efforts into sales, particularly through digital strategies and trade show engagement.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with some travel and in-office presence required.

Focus Areas:

· Own and execute all digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive high-quality leads into the sales funnel.

· Develop tactical strategies for lead generation, focusing on corporate growth initiatives to attract and engage B2B clients.

· Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline marketing efforts, optimize campaigns, and enhance lead scoring and nurturing.

· Lead the digital marketing lifecycle, including Google AdWords, SEO, email campaigns, social media, and content marketing to support sales goals.

· Plan and manage pre-show messaging, on-site engagement strategies, and post-show lead nurturing for trade shows and industry events, ensuring maximum ROI.

· Support the customer experience through digital marketing efforts throughout the buying life cycle

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Analysis, Scheduling & Reporting (HIGH PRIORITY):

  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics, adjusting strategies based on performance data.
  • Manage and expand current marketing deadlines and commitments, ensuring timely execution of all initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry trends to inform marketing strategies.

Digital Marketing & Content Creation (HIGH PRIORITY):

  • Manage and enhance Plains Craft’s online presence, including website, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and optimize website, blog, and social media content to maximize engagement and SEO performance.
  • Utilize WordPress for website updates, enhancements, and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee paid digital advertising campaigns (including Google AdWords) and track key performance indicators.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies, creating compelling content to drive audience growth and engagement.

Marketing Strategy & Brand Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to refine marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Engage in community marketing and outreach efforts to strengthen brand presence.

Event & Promotional Marketing:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Represent PlainsCraft at events and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.

Tools & Platform Requirements:

  • Google AdWords and SEO management

  • Canva or like platforms for design
  • HubSpot

Reporting Structure:

  • This role reports directly to Shane Burns , the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, brand strategy, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy.
  • Google AdWords Certification preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress, graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), and CRM software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Experience in the outdoor hospitality or tourism industry is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events, meetings, and promotional activities.
  • Self-starter with a bonus mentality and individual contributor mindset.
