Job Description

Electrical Estimator

My client is actively seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team. Estimators play a crucial role in securing profitable electrical projects, providing accurate technical estimations from bid preparation to job closeout documentation, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Knowledge of electrical construction and theory acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree, or equivalent experience.

Key Skills & Competencies:

* Excellent human relations skills with a focus on confidentiality.
* Proficiency in conceptual estimates and financial analysis.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

* Conduct quantity takeoff and entry into estimating software.
* Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.
* Monitor current material pricing levels.
* Review and estimate addenda as required.
* Attend site walk meetings and review bid/construction schedules.
* Draft and submit proposal documents.
* Follow post-bid closeout procedures.
* Attend weekly estimating team meetings.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
