Electrical Estimator - Commercial & Residential Projects

One of our top clients is seeking a talented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our commercial and single-family residential projects by creating accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and contracts to identify electrical materials and labor requirements
Develop detailed cost estimates for all electrical aspects of projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and permits
Research and obtain current market pricing for electrical materials and equipment
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project scope and budget alignment
Prepare and present bids to clients
Maintain accurate estimating records and databases

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial or residential projects (or a combination of both)
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NFPA 70, etc.)
Proficient in electrical takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam Revu, Planswift)
Excellent knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and labor costs
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project) a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented and highly organized
