• Role Title: Entry Level Support Technician (onsite)
• Role Duration : 1-3 months – Temp Contract
• Role Location: Onsite - Santa Rosa CA
• Role Work Schedule: Business Hours
• Role Target Start Date: 1 week upon offer
• Role Local Travel: Ability to Travel to Local Sites when needed,
• Travel Reimbursement: Mileage between sites is 100% reimbursed

OVERVIEW : Provide support, receive requests for support via telephone, chat, e-mail and deskside

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• The Entry Level Support Technician provides first-level contact and problem resolution for all internal users hardware, software, and telecommunications issues.
• Field Support Technical staff resolves as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using all available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support calls.
• Field Support Technical staff provides first-level client hardware support for desktop pc’s, laptops/docking stations, printers
• Support Technician fields calls from customer opening tickets on the ticketing system as well as calling in from a toll-free number
• Provide basic support for network connectivity, including resetting passwords.
• Helpdesk staff will log all calls into Ticketing System
• Helpdesk staff is responsible for escalation of more complex calls to the relevant IT team.
• Position requires excellent customer service communication skills, both verbal and written
• Position requires ability / willingness to travel to multiple locations within the Santa Rosa area, when needed.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING : Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of related education and experience
