Who are we looking for? As we continue to grow, we are looking for a
FEMA Project Manager to mentor, guide our team, and also take the reins on one of our U.S. Federal Sector contracts for advisory and disaster technical assistance contracts. This role will include project management efforts related to task orders, program level quality, safety, schedule, and scope delivery against budget. As Project Manager, you will provide oversight, direction and mentorship to a large group of staff to ensure successful outcomes on specific task orders.
This position supports a west coast contract and can be based out of the US West Coast

Learn about leadership opportunities with GHD. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: - Development of the Project Plan and lead its implementation
- Delivery of the Project and Task Orders
- Ensure job work packages, budgets, and programs with written job briefs are in place
- Develop tactics to streamline program processes
- Ensure project risks are identified and managed
- Developing project cost estimates
- Provide flexible staffing solutions to meet contract needs
- Develop performance metrics and program quarterly reports
- Management of the client expectations
What you will bring to the team: - A Bachelor degree from an accredited school in an engineering related technical field (civil, structural, electrical or mechanical) including architecture is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years project management experience, minimum of 5 years experience in FEMA Project Management, experience with a FEMA disaster response contract is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff
- Able and willing to travel to project job sites and client offices as needed
- Ability to obtain a Federal Background clearance and maintain it
- Must be a US Citizen

Salary Range: $171,600.00 - $114,400.00 based on experience
