Fiberwave Technologies is seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to enhance our dynamic team in the Internet industry. This vital role focuses on maintaining and expanding our fiber optic network, crucial for delivering high-speed internet services. As a Fiber Optic Technician, you will independently and collaboratively install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic cables and associated equipment while ensuring system integrity in compliance with safety and quality standards.

To excel as a Fiber Optic Technician at Fiberwave Technologies, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical certification in fiber optics preferred. Proven experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, and troubleshooting is essential, as is familiarity with testing equipment like OTDR and power meters. A strong understanding of network infrastructure and telecommunications concepts will enable you to navigate complex systems effectively.

Additionally, the ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics is crucial for accurate installations and repairs. Excellent communication skills and a customer service orientation are vital to ensure client satisfaction and team collaboration.
