Job Description

The Financial Analyst (FP&A) Intern will be focused on supporting the FP&A group in the analysis of financial results, budgeting/ forecasting and financial planning. This individual will utilize learned business and financial concepts as well as financial statements to support the mission of the Accounting and Finance Departments. Additionally, this individual will be assigned an in-depth incisive project that will involve research, analysis, and presenting findings to senior Finance/Accounting stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior leadership on financial performance and key insights. •Work on ad hoc projects related to profitability analysis, cost optimization, and strategic planning.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives within FP&A.
  General Intern Program Responsibilities:
• Complete an assigned project of significance focused in designated discipline and present findings to various stakeholders during the last week of the program.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university as a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting
• Must have working knowledge with PCs, Windows 7/10/11, and Office 365.

Intern Project : Interns will collaborate with their Department Managers, Mentors, Program Coordinator on a specific project based on their department. At the end, interns will present their project findings and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
