Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88/hour with top of base scale at $67.11/hour: Seniority-based pay increases and additional compensation for language skills, lead positions, and international trips. Outstanding training: You will begin with 6.5 weeks of training in Houston, TX, learning United safety and customer service standards. Following successful completion, you will be welcomed as a full-time employee and assigned to one of our seven hubs. The Job Posting End Date is 08/22/2024 Qualifications and Requirements include: 21 years of age or older at time of application High school graduate or GED; 2 or more years of college preferred At least one year of customer service experience in the service industry Must be able to speak clearly and be heard in emergencies. Fluent in English; must also read and speak Italian fluently. Ability to hear all types and ranges of sound. Professional appearance and willingness to follow grooming standards. Ability to proficiently operate electronic devices. Must possess a valid passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining. Ability to travel to and from all countries United serves without restrictions. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and pushing/pulling carts. Expectation to serve and sell food and beverages professionally. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. What you can expect during onboarding and training: Must demonstrate an evacuation drill in water during training. Must complete pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
