**Food Safety Data Analyst (Part-Time, One-Year Contract)**

**Hours:** Up to 30 hours per week

**Location:** Remote (Charlotte, NC or Eastern United States preferred)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Food Safety Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in helping us provide key insights to our clients, enabling them to maintain high sanitation compliance and food safety standards. Using industry-leading analytics and consultative services, you'll create and manage customer-facing data dashboards and analytics.

**What we're looking for:**

- An experienced analyst with a strong background in using Tableau for business intelligence.
- A creative problem solver who can design, build, and edit interactive dashboards that delight our customers.
- A detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality assurance and data accuracy.

**Your skills include:**

- Proficiency in Tableau, including the ability to normalize large data sets and perform various calculations (e.g., utilizing parameters, LOD expressions, and logical functions).
- Strong skills in Excel, with the ability to query datasets.
- Understanding of setting up data sources, data relationships, and data joins.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- Background in Food Safety, Retail Grocery, Food Service, or a similar setting is a plus, but not required.
- Tableau certification is ideal but not required.

**Your responsibilities will include:**

- Reporting to the Director of Client Analytics to support North American Retail Food Safety and provide additional support to Global Food Safety accounts.
- Building and maintaining dashboards within our current business intelligence environment.
- Managing customer data from various sources within Tableau.
- Supporting internal ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) from accounts.
