HVAC Technician

Location: Southwest Florida – On-site (Float)

Under the general management of the Maintenance Supervisor and HVAC technologist performs those duties directly involving the repair and maintenance of Radiology Regional Center's (RRC) HVAC equipment as well as other repair and maintenance required to maintain the efficient operations of RRC centers. (This position specifically does NOT include maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment.) Performs all HVAC and general maintenance tasks with independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Assumes responsibility for associated duties as assigned.

• Receive and follow directives regarding HVAC and maintenance issues that require immediate attention.
• Learn familiarity with all county and state codes that pertain to HVAC and safety.
• Work from drawings, verbal instructions and work orders.
• Operate hand and power tools necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Understand and maintain all safety equipment necessary to complete the assigned work.
• Follow established Policies and Procedures including safety and precautions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly condition of all properties.
• Participate in moving/repairing furniture, equipment etc in the building or between facilities.

• Ability to lift 50lbs intermittently, heavier objects will be handled using other methods.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-6 months experience in HVAC is required.
