The hourly rate for this position is 34.62 per hour.

Job responsibilities

"The Eaton Internship Program – Engineering & Technology is designed to provide exciting opportunities to future leaders who demonstrate a high level of ethics, values, creativity and performance.  

During the 6 months paid internship, Intern will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business and will be coached and mentored by Eaton leaders. Students will develop skills through stimulating on-the-job experiences, structured training, coaching and networking events. Assignments support real business objectives, with a focus on growth technologies and a high level of contact with Eaton’s key innovation and technology leaders. Basic Qualification

  • Actively enrolled or completed in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree level engineering program with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Materials, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science from an accredited institution 

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please do not round) 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship 

  • Geographical flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration of the internship "

Technical knowledge

  • Design engineering experience in any of the following areas: Machine learning based design, sorting and visualization tool creation, Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, Software or Advanced Materials

Soft skills

  • Good English communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

  • Experience formulating value proposition of new technologies"
