Job Description

Print food ingredient labels and/or other custom labels to meet country and customer requirements for export. Record Production and/or Expiration dates and enter onto existing labels after verifying shelf-life requirements. Responsibilities include providing technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects. Tasks involve printing Arabic and non-Arabic labels using specific software and templates, verifying legibility and compliance with country and customer requirements, applying sample labels to log sheets, voiding and correcting labels as needed, maintaining workflow, verifying shelf life by entering dates into Excel and comparing with warehouse management system data, communicating with Labeling Supervisor if shelf life is insufficient or mismatched, physically counting product quantities, saving labels to shared drives, managing paperwork, and performing weekly inventory and stocking of labels. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred manufacturing or food industry experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, ability to learn AS400 and Warehouse Management systems, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs often and 80 lbs occasionally, ability to work in ambient and freezer temperatures, English reading and speaking skills, flexible working hours, and preferred Spanish and Arabic literacy.
