Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on various equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
2. Assisting tradesmen with installations, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
3. Working with metal, including rolling and forming, to create and repair components.
4. Identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions to prevent future problems.
5. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Collaborating with the team to complete larger projects and tasks.
7. Keeping a detailed record of all maintenance work done, including any parts or materials used.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
2. Proven experience with metal, rolling, and forming.
3. Extensive knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
4. Experience assisting tradesmen with installations and repairs.
5. The ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
8. The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
9. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
