POSITION PURPOSE
The Manager, Organizational Development assist in developing and leading the PEOPLE strategy with key stakeholders, focused on ensuring the team and our patient interactions reflect our BRAND. This incumbent is a partner to the leadership teams that assist in assessing performance, developing, and delivering learning tools training programs. They partner with key stakeholders to prioritize short-term and long-term solutions to competitively recruit and retain candidates in the healthcare industry. The desired candidate will have experience in the space of innovation, be solution based, and leverage analytical and strategic thinking to solve complex challenges. They will be able to influence leaders (internal/external vendors) and acts as an advisor and coach to healthcare leaders on our recruiting and workforce planning programs. They desire to be part of team that identifies challenges, promotes agility, and provides solutions to support a fun and collaborative work environment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
Designs and develops HR training programs for management and employees.
Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives, and accomplishments.
Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
Trains employees on HR issues and practices. Presents course materials.
Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
Assist with building strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.
Develops and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace
Manages the individual development planning process for employees and emerging leaders.
Assist in the planning of short- and long-term planning for OD programs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in training and development or organizational development.
3 + years of training experience, and at least one year of management experience.
Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, preferred.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent presentation and facilitator skills.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
Excellent leadership skills.
