Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assembler who will utilize hand tools to assemble various medical devices throughout the day. This role requires working under a microscope and being cross-trained at different stations using blades, cutters, microscopes, and other tools. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling and maneuvering small components and parts, and be able to work in a full clean room environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices using hand tools and a microscope.
  • Quickly pick up and learn potentially difficult processes.
  • Cross-train at different stations and use blades, cutters, microscopes, etc.
  • Handle and maneuver small components and parts.
  • Adhere to clean room protocols and procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing/assembly.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great hand dexterity.
  • Ability to understand measurements with rulers and calipers.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous medical assembly experience.
  • Stable work history in assembly or manufacturing.

Work Environment

Medical Device Company - Full Clean Room Environment. Employees must wear a hair net, gown, booties, and wash hands each time before entering the clean room. The following are not allowed: nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrance (perfume or cologne), henna tattoos, pants with holes, and must have closed-toe shoes.

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
