We are seeking a Medical Office billing specialist to join our Medical Billing team! Your responsibilities will include but not limited to some of the functions listed below:

R esponsibilities:

• Enter information necessary for insurance claims such as patient insurance ID, diagnosis and treatment codes, modifiers and provider information. Ensure claim information is complete and accurate.
• Submit insurance claims to clearing houses or individual insurance companies electronically or via paper with CMS -1500 form within timely filling guidelines.
• Print patient statement.
• Post insurance AND patient payment .
• ​Answer patient questions on copay's, deductibles and write off's.
• Work insurance AR and make soft calls on patient balances.
• Answer calls.
• Other Medical administrative duties involved in the running of a Medical Office.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Billing Specialist with a 2 years minimum.
• Must have Excellent Computer Skills and a FAST Learner.
• Must have Excellent customer service Skills.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
