Medical Billing Specialist – Downtown Cincinnati
M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM | Contract to Hire

LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to partner with a healthcare organization in downtown Cincinnati to find a skilled Medical Billing Specialist . This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in medical billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and resolve patient billing inquiries, ensuring prompt and clear communication.

  • Verify insurance coverage for scheduled patients to prevent claim denials.

  • Inform patients of their financial responsibilities before appointments.

  • Work closely with leadership to address billing concerns and improve claim accuracy.

  • Meet or exceed daily billing targets set by management.

  • Submit insurance claims accurately using EMR data, reviewing for errors before submission.

  • Resolve billing edits efficiently and manage disputed balances.

  • Process payments, reconcile deposit totals, and ensure batches are closed correctly.

  • Assist with process improvements to streamline billing operations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in medical billing.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification, claim submissions, and payment posting.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
