Medical Billing Specialist – Downtown Cincinnati
M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM | Contract to Hire
LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to partner with a healthcare organization in downtown Cincinnati to find a skilled Medical Billing Specialist . This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in medical billing processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and resolve patient billing inquiries, ensuring prompt and clear communication.
Verify insurance coverage for scheduled patients to prevent claim denials.
Inform patients of their financial responsibilities before appointments.
Work closely with leadership to address billing concerns and improve claim accuracy.
Meet or exceed daily billing targets set by management.
Submit insurance claims accurately using EMR data, reviewing for errors before submission.
Resolve billing edits efficiently and manage disputed balances.
Process payments, reconcile deposit totals, and ensure batches are closed correctly.
Assist with process improvements to streamline billing operations.
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 years of experience in medical billing.
Strong knowledge of insurance verification, claim submissions, and payment posting.
