Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Ensure general safety and structure of the property by monitoring guest activities to promote safety and well-being.
• Additionally, ensure the structure is properly cared for and maintained.
• Maintain a daily log of any activities/incidents.
• Provide crisis intervention with the assistance of on-call staff.
• Respond to guest concerns/needs.
• Record all incidents on a typed incident form as required.
• Attend monthly staff meetings when possible.
• Attend required training.
• Handle all client information confidentially and with respect.
• Any duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
• Ability to other languages is encouraged but not required.

REPORTS TO: Shelter Coordinator

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

High School diploma or equivalency. Experience in a related field preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Solitary on an emergency shelter bus.
