Become an integral part of the Image Fitness Team as a Personal Trainer: Coach on Duty (COD)! By utilizing available Office Hours, you'll connect with members, demonstrate your expertise, and fuel growth for both yourself and Image Fitness. Plus, take advantage of unlimited coaching opportunities outside of Office Hours to build meaningful relationships with our members and expand your client base.

Overview:

The COD role is a hybrid opportunity for certified personal trainers/coaches to grow their client base while maintaining a positive and engaging presence within the Image Fitness community. As an independent contractor, the COD will have access to Image Fitness facilities during designated Office Hours to offer support to members, promote personal training services, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

DESCRIPTION:

Coaching:

• Provide personalized training services to clients during scheduled sessions.
• Offer expertise to help clients achieve their fitness goals through customized programming, motivation, and nutrition suggestions.

Member Engagement:

• Be visible and approachable on the gym floor during designated Office Hours to build relationships and promote your training services.
• Offer assistance with proper form, spotting, or exercise guidance as appropriate.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized workout environment as part of your professional presence.

Client Growth:

• Conduct gym tours for prospective clients and promote gym memberships and training packages.
• Actively market your coaching services to members through Image Fitness-approved methods.
• Use designated Office Hours to write workout plans, contact clients, and prepare for sessions to maximize on-site productivity, create marketing materials, etc.

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

• Current Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA).
• Additional fitness, nutrition, or specialty certifications (e.g., strength and conditioning, group fitness, corrective exercise, or nutrition coaching) are highly valued.
• CPR/AED certification.
• General and professional liability insurance.

Highly Valued Skills:

• Experience in fitness coaching, sales, and customer service.
• Strong understanding of gym equipment and fitness programming.
• Ability to self-motivate, organize, and maintain a professional presence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for fitness and helping others succeed.
