Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties and drive performance to meet financial and operational goals for our client's team out of Troy, MI. Our client is a well-known property management company that has been in business for over 40 years and operates in 26 states across the US!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee property operations for 5 properties, ensuring compliance with policies and achieving financial objectives for a portfolio of about 1,000 units.
• Monitor income/expenses and implement strategies to address any budget shortfalls.
• Lead staff, mentor team members, and partner with HR to recruit and develop talent.
• Oversee marketing efforts, assess market conditions, and drive occupancy.
• Conduct regular site inspections and manage capital improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of property management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience in property management at market rate properties.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Property Management Software.
• Ability to travel locally (75% of the time) and occasional out-of-state travel.
