Sign Maker Installer

Local family-owned business in the signage creation industry do it all — from design and fabrication, to installation and service. We’re here to meet all the signage needs for your business, with solutions that include interior signage, exterior signage, vinyl wall graphics, and vehicle wraps. From lobby signs, billboards to Major League Baseball announcements, this company if utilized all over the country.

Job Duties :

Primary Duties:

• Design, production, assembly, and sign installation
• Weed and tape for installation
• Fabricate signs from wood, plastic, and metal
• Laminate and cut printed graphics
• Graphic layout using Adobe Illustrator
• Print designs on large format HP 365 latex printer
• Install signs as directed by the drawings or directions given.
• Assist in loading signage for travel to customer's site, making sure product arrives safely.
• Preform service repair work at customer's sites as needed.
• Preform the installation process abiding by all OSHA & NEC requirements.
• Be pleasant and professional in both written and verbal communication
• Consult/interface with customers, suppliers, and contractors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
• Assist in maintaining company signage equipment
• Be eager to learn new technologies, skills, and techniques
• Vehicle graphic/wrap installation expertise is a plus

Qualifications:

• Confident In Adobe Software
• Knowledge of Sign Decal Wrapping a Plus
• Sign Installer experience 1 Year Minimum

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Related experience
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple step instructions
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings
• Basic math skills
• Positive Attitude

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and can be exposed to climates consistent with outside weather conditions .
