Responsibilities:In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center healthcare philosophy the Medical Social Worker is responsible for providing direct casework services to patients and families and for collaboration with appropriate healthcare workers and community agencies. May participate in providing care to patients in the Community Based Palliative Care (CBPC) Program upon completion of appropriate orientation. As an employee of Marian Regional Medical Center adherence to the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health will be expected.
Coverage includes but is not limited Santa Maria, Orcutt, Lompoc, Los Alamos, Buellton to Santa Ynez/Solvang. Depending on volume of patients and availability of staffing, coverage may include floating outside of this area as well.
