St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Flex SANE RN to join our Community SAFE team.
\n\n
A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is a registered nurse who provide comprehensive medical care to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. The role of the SANE includes providing compassionate trauma-informed care to the patient, evaluating, and treating injuries, providing education for exam and treatment options, meticulous documentation of medical history and injuries, collection of physical evidence, providing resources and medical follow-up information, and providing court testimony when needed.

The Community SANE Team, evaluates and treats any patient over the age of 14 years. You will also work with various community partners when providing care and evaluation. These partners include law enforcement, advocates, hospital staff, and medical providers.

Schedule: On Call, Requiring at least five 12-hour on-call shifts per month and at least 1 weekend call every other month.
\n\n
