General Function The Store Manager at Target Optical leads a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences, meeting brand goals and commitments. Major Duties and Responsibilities Ensure team members provide excellent guest service, modeling and coaching store rules. Set expectations for store readiness and guest experience. Manage floor flow and serve as caretaker for guests and team members. Develop and monitor team members' action plans and provide timely feedback. Create a culture of simplicity, fun, and style. Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and store staff to enhance business performance. Recruit top talent and maintain a talent pipeline. Create staff schedules based on business trends and traffic. Manage payroll, personnel paperwork, and store inventory. Ensure compliance with policies, merchandising, and sales strategies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3+ years in customer service or retail Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven Strong critical thinking, recruiting, sales, and motivational skills Preferred Qualifications Opticianary License or ABO Certification 3+ years of management or supervisory experience Benefits include health care, retirement, paid time off, and discounts.
