The Technical Writer is responsible for writing and editing, training, technical documentation, and both internal and external customer deliverables. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Working with subject matter experts to document information related to Organizational Transformation and Leadership Development processes and training. Coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents including Meeting Minutes, Project Schedules, Requirements, System Design Document, Testing and Evaluation Master Plan, Implementation Plan, Operational Readiness Review, Post Implementation Review, Standard Operating Procedures, and Training materials Laying out material for publication Analyzing developments in specific field to determine need for revisions in previously published materials and development of new material Drawing sketches to illustrate specified materials or assembly sequence Working directly with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Systems Designers, and Project Managers Must be US Citizen and Clearable Education: BA/BS degree required Skills: Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration skills in a rapidly changing, high intensity, mission-oriented work environment Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills Experience: Requires a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Technical Writer Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $27-60/hr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE's total compensation package for employees. Work Environment: The primary work location of this position is Las Vegas Nevada, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
