The Technical Writer is responsible for writing and editing technical documentation, training materials, and both internal and external deliverables. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Working with subject matter experts to document information related to Organizational Transformation and Leadership Development processes and training. Coordinating the display of graphics and the production of documents. Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining various technical documents, including Meeting Minutes, Project Schedules, Requirements, System Design Documents, Testing and Evaluation Master Plans, Implementation Plans, Operational Readiness Reviews, Post-Implementation Reviews, Standard Operating Procedures, and Training materials. Laying out material for publication. Analyzing developments in the field to determine the need for revisions in existing materials and the development of new content. Drawing sketches to illustrate materials or assembly sequences. Collaborating directly with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Systems Designers, and Project Managers. Requirements: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance. Education: BA/BS degree required. Skills: Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills; demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration; technical writing and presentation skills; well-organized, self-directed, team-oriented; excellent communication skills. Experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Technical Writer. Additional Information: Compensation: Estimated salary range is $27-60/hr, subject to various factors including experience, skills, and organizational needs. Work Environment: Primary location is Las Vegas, Nevada. Remote work is allowed but not guaranteed; travel expenses are not reimbursed outside the commutable area.
