JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support their customer in the Sarasota, FL area. This person will be responsible for designing, building, and control testing test lab equipment and instruments. They will work cross-functionally with groups to determine and understand project needs and timeline with various engineering departments. They will also be responsible for leading the design reviews for test equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in any of the following electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering/technology.
3+ years of experience working as a test engineer on electronic products.
Experience using digital and analog testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Experience with MATLAB
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience programming test equipment in languages like (Python, C++, C, etc.)
Knowledge of Test Sensors (Transducers, photo-voltaic cells, etc)
Experience building RF test set-ups.
