Job Details

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Trust & Estate Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar. (MD)
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in trust and estate law with a focus on tax.
4. Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other ancillary documents.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws related to trusts and estates.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and negotiate on behalf of clients.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal and tax issues.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Proficient in legal research and the use of legal databases and software.
10. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
