Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman with a strong background in underground wet utilities to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in managing and executing underground utility projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate daily operations for underground wet utility projects.
* Supervise and lead a team of pipe layers, laborers, and equipment operators.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on job sites.
* Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan work activities.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers.
* Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards.
* Manage materials, tools, and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
* Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement effective solutions.
* Foster a positive work environment and mentor team members for professional growth.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in underground wet utilities.
* Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and relevant codes.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
