The Treasury Solutions and Development program at Leidos is seeking a software applications UX Researcher for a new opportunity we are pursuing. The place of work is in the Washington Metro Area with telework and onsite client work. In this mission we will work with our customer to implement application modernization projects in Enterprise Hybrid Multicloud environments.
Primary Responsibilities: You will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our clients' products. You will be an experienced software application user experience designer with experience in designing UX for web / mobile / desktop applications. You will reveal what users need from the products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include inspiring change, delivering oral and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the UX team better understand what would make a user's experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.
Basic Qualifications: - Five or more years of software application UX research experience
- Bachelor's or MS in a human behavior related field (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)
- Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
- Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
- Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
- A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
- Excellent time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Current Public Trust MBI clearance.
- Experience working in a large federal IT environment.

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
