Wellness Nurse (RN/LPN) Opportunity - South Shore, MA

Position: Full-Time, Weekdays (8 am - 4:30 pm)

About the Role:

Join a renowned Assisted Living Community on the South Shore of Massachusetts as a Wellness Nurse. This full-time position is open to both RN and LPN candidates. You will manage the successful operation of the Resident Care Department under the leadership of the Resident Care Director (RCD), overseeing, coaching, and directly supervising all resident care service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Resident Care Director for pre-screen/admission assessments and service plan coordination.
• Audit SAMM for compliance.
• Assist in monitoring medication administration.
• Supervise and oversee Memory Care and Resident Care Assistants.
• Report illnesses and incidents to appropriate next of kin.
• Assist with pharmacy deliveries.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Deliver and audit LMA for specific residents.
• Participate in occasional on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Experience in Assisted Living.
• Valid, current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Ability to lead, direct, and supervise others.
• Experience leading teams of caregivers preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Physical requirements: Ability to move at least 50 lbs, bend, reach, work in small areas, push/pull equipment, and stand for long periods.
• Previous experience working with individuals with dementia is preferred.
• Certification in Dementia Care is preferred.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with residents and family members.
