Director of Energy Sales

100% Remote (Must live in East Coast)

A fast-growing and innovative company is seeking a Sales Director to lead a high-performing team and drive significant growth within the energy sector.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Drive team performance and ensure continuous professional development through regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and mutual respect.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations)

Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex client interactions and participate in key client calls.

Performance Management:

  • Track, analyze, and report on team and individual sales performance using CRM tools
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Market Expertise:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the energy sector.
  • Ensure the team has the knowledge and resources to offer cutting-edge energy solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and leading high-performing B2B sales teams
  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales targets and achieving significant business growth.
  • Experience working within energy markets
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Passion for the energy industry and a commitment to sustainability.
